this is baby logan marc born july 16 at 2:30 pm, 8.5lbs "big baby" well where do i begin, first i want to start by saying thank you! without you and yoga i don't think i would have managed. i went into labor around 7:30 with minor contractions and by 10 am my water had broken, anna my doula decided it was time to head to the hospital, i of course didn't want to go bc i was comfortable in my bed and at home. but i heard it in her voice, it became necessary so off we went.

i was put into triage for a few hours bc they didnt have a room available which was not a big deal bc it really didn't matter where i was i knew i was in pain! all through this i was breathing and knew if i stopped the pain would be soooo intense so my breathing helped to the fullest, the yelling only brought pain! a word for the mothers to be.... we then went off to the birthing room and gave birth at 2:38 pm. after just 20 mins of pushing, thank god. logan had a few problems at birth and had to be brought straight to intensive care so i was not able to see him which was probably the saddest thing in the world but i knew everything was going to be ok, his daddy didnt leave his side...and now he is at home in my arms happy and healthy.

quick note to all... drugs are not needed, the pain is intense i won't lie but we can all do it we are made to do it and if i managed everyone can....the most pain is right before you begin to push about 8 to 9 cent, dialated, after that you are just so excited to see your baby that its all you begin to think about. if i had of taken drugs i dont think mr. logan would have done as well as he did and probably would have still been at the hospital, i think many more problems would have arose, but i never want to think about that.

well that's the story of mr logan marcs birth..i can't thank you enough for making me want to take your class for the past 6 months it helped with the whole experience of birthing, i am sure it made my day a whole lot easier!
i will see you soon with logan.
luv jaime
